Line arting is one of the most pain staking processes I ever have to go through as an artist. That and repetitive colouring, which will come up shortly.
As I am relying heavily on the Katsugeki Touken Ranbu greyscale styled aesthetic, inking wise I stuck to a relatively simple inking line art style. In keeping with this, I refrained from filling any large patches of shade in pitch black, excluding the shadow under the chin since that is exclusively a stylistic preference. These are a range of pages I have completed.
Problem Encountered:
Initially I went with lining them in sequential order, but this quickly fell through as it made my procrastination levels rise and motivation plummet. Instead, I started to approach it with a different method, picking and chosing pages at random which sparked my interest. This meant I worked a lot faster, but also the quality of my work went up as well.
I think I will be following a similar system when colouring my pages. At first, 24 pages seemed like a small number to work with. No where near enough for a decent story. However, despite myself having the initial panic of not getting it all within the pages in a concise, well paced manner, I found I could quiet easily make it work well with a bit of planning.

Problem Encountered: Difficulties drawing perspectives to the level I can draw them by hand, due to the lack of tools I find appropriate enough to use.
Athough my personal preference is SAI when it comes to line arting, backgrounds and perspectives are much more suited in the software Medibang. It has set rulers and horizon line points which you can deform and angle in whichever way you need for your page. This did get a little complicated as for effects such as wood or bubbles I would use Clipstudio, bulk lining in SAI and backgrounds in Medi, it took careful mental planning on how to approach drawing each page and what layers and effects would be needed to make it all work in harmony with each other. Using a PSD file, I transferred the file throughout these three in order to create the final page. It could be a time consuming process, however it ended up being really rather rewarding.
Update: I managed to complete all line arts and a prototype stapled book to ensure all pages flowed well and settled in the right places, during the Easter holidays. I decided to go for a intense week to get all 24 pages done, managing to complete the final 4 (per day) on the 6th day. Taking a small break, I have now started thinking about m approach on the colouring aspect of the comic.
